Military Cybertruck - The military has talked about introducing electric vehicles into its fleet, and with the Tesla Cybertruck described as the "armored personnel carrier of the future," the artist decided to explore what the Cybertruck would look like as a light electric tactical vehicle.
As we reported last week, the military is developing a plan to use electric vehicles for long-range missions, and even Tesla cited the feasibility of larger EVs as an example.

With Tesla CEO Elon Musk describing the Cybertruck as the "armored worker of the future," several people have suggested that the military could eventually use the Cybertruck as a platform to build electric military vehicles.

It was going to be a sort of hummer to go back, which was originally a military vehicle, but then became a commercial vehicle.
But the Cybertruck has other advantages that most commercial vehicles don't, including the fact that it's made from an ultra-tough cold-rolled 30X stainless steel exoskeleton.
YouTuber Electric Future and car designer Jan Peisert teamed up to imagine what the Tesla Cybertruck would look like as an electric military vehicle, like a regular light tactical vehicle.
One of them even shows a potential solar power feature, which is something Tesla really wants to do with the Cybertruck.

Tesla says the optional solar cell on top of the electric truck will generate about 15 miles of electricity per day.
The military should really be electric. With the inclusion of batteries and solar panels, their functions can be self-sufficient in energy. No generator or fuel supply chain required.
Throw in a Tesla Megapack or some Powerpacks with deployable solar panels, something Tesla and partners are already rolling out in Australia, and you have a self-sustaining base when it comes to electricity.

Tesla Cybertruck: 10 New Facts You Probably Didn't Know
If you're not familiar with the Hacksmith YouTube channel, he takes fictional concepts from movies, comics, and video games and turns them into real working prototypes. After introducing the Tesla Cybertruck,
We called Hacksmith's creation the assembled Tesla Cybertruck. The guys built a half-scale, four-wheel, three-motor, all-electric Cybertruck prototype. They promised to prove it would tow more than the Ford F-150 (well, more than half the size), and ended up using it to play tug-of-war with a gas-powered Ford pickup.
Fast forward to now, and the guys at Hacksmith have ramped up their efforts and creativity. At a time when people around the world are in turmoil due to the pandemic, financial chaos and now street protests, Hacksmith decided to militarize and weaponize his miniature electric truck.
The video above tells more about the project and shows the military Cybertruck. As we have stated before, we believe that the Tesla Cybertruck could be a good option for police and military use in the future. Watch the video and drop us a line in the comments below.
